Chemistry to Synergy Part 1

Prepare a holy anointing oil, blending them like a skilled perfume maker ( The Art of the Apothecary KJV) to produce the holy anointing oil.” Exodus 30:25 Common English Bible (CEB)

The Strands of DNA not only connects each of us to our own ancestry, but also to one another.  There has never been a more diverse nation on the face of the earth than the United States of America. image The American window is a reflection of the world that we are a part of. The Art of the Apothecary is our creator who has derived the admixture of our human family. “From one human being he created all races of people and made them live throughout the whole earth. He himself fixed beforehand the exact times and the limits of the places where they would live.”  Acts 17:26 Good News Translation (GNT) The human story is one of commonalities and connections between neighbors. The energy of life which flows through us all is not hindered or diverted as to its vibrancy, or place of importance for anyone walking on the face of the earth. The Bible states: “This was the real light—the light that comes into the world and shines on all people.”  John 1:9 Good News Translation (GNT) image Dr. Joanna Mountain, the senior director of research for, defines admixture this way: “Every one of us has the story of our ancestry hidden in our DNA. Any section of DNA — say, one piece of chromosome 3 — can be linked with people who lived in a particular geographic location thousands of years ago. By adding up the fractions of DNA from each location, we can determine the percentage of a person’s ancestors who lived in each location.” How Mixed Are African Americans? by HENRY LOUIS GATES, We share more in common than what divides us. However, after the admixture of the human genome has been constituted by the Art of the Apothecary, It becomes our responsibility to take dominion by bringing coalescence and cohesion to His mixture. God created all of the animals in Eden but it was left up to Adam to name each one of them; as is our responsibility to speak the language of reconciliation over his admixture, which is spoken with the accent of peace.  We humans speak so many categorically divisive words that devaluate one another rather that add value to our uniqueness. The genetic admixture of our country alone shows that, we together possess the potential to be greater than the sum of its individual, disparate parts of personalities, cultures and ethnicities. This is not to say that we are viewed through the obsolete lens of the melting pot. We are not a melting pot,  but an admixture aroma of God’s love; the vapor the bible likens to our life. Could this vapor be what the writer of Ps. 133 speaks of as the dew of Hermon: “Harmony is as refreshing as the dew from Mount Hermon that falls on the mountains of Zion. And there the Lord has pronounced his blessing, even life everlasting.” Psalm 133:3 New Living Translation (NLT) Therein lays God’s blessing of divine synergy that is possible if we trust him.
