Just an Illusion Part 3: I’m caught in between

“After this I looked and a vast host appeared which no one could count, [gathered out] of every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages. These stood before the throne and before the Lamb; they were attired in white robes, with palm branches in their hands”. Revelation 7:9 Amplified Bible (AMP)

“ Life is a dream and heaven’s reality And I’m caught in between I know it seems this world has everything It’s nothing more than a dream”(Anointed); or is it. We must not fall into the illusion of a manipulated and coerced world, but we should find that unity in diversity which will free us from being “caught in between” when we all come together in unity and agreement anything is possible, most notably the superimposing of infinite eternity upon the finite natural world. In Genesis chapter 11, the Bible refers to a time when all of the people of the earth spoke one language.

images (4)It was in this time that the people of the earth began to build an incredible monument to themselves. The Bible refers to this monument as The Tower of Babel because this is the place that God would ultimately confound their languages. In the Genesis account, the structure’s completion could not come into fruition because the motivation was absent of the presence of God. Unity is ultimately God’s idea but it must come in diversity. God had desired for man to replenish the earth to achieve the diversity and plurality such as the world that we have today.

Unity is the power of agreement created in a fashion which attracts the presence of God either as in Genesis 11 or in Ps 133 “It is “good” for brethren to dwell together in unity”. In Genesis 11 God intervened into the illusion of unity which was present. This illusion is ultimately full of all of the temporal characteristics of humanity at its worst, where a few have a voice and small factions control the unassuming and ill-informed masses. This false unity is not unity at all but masquerades by a very sophisticated illusion. This mirrors society today where coercion replaces free will.

Upon the axis of love, real unity turns; in groups, ethnic, gender, social, marital relationships etc.

”So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.” John 13:34-35 New Living Translation (NLT)

This does not speak the Golden Rule which says “love your neighbor as yourself” to a world that lost its direction and doesn’t know the first thing about love for self or anyone else.

Christ’s type of love is exemplified in John 3:16, which shows that love is a person (Christ), and that person does not discriminate but believes that authentic love will attract more than it repels’ leaving no room for coercion.

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again.” John 3:16-17 The Message (MSG)
